When you ask a question like this, you go to their strength. They have tons
of marketing-speak that can answer that question. I have been a member of
this list for less than a year, but it has become apparent that Omega has
lots to say - the real problem is that they don't know how to listen (or
don't want to).

The programming and deceit are secondary problems. Important problems that
need to be solved, but not as important to the survival of Omega as not
listening. Omega has been offered (for free!!!) suggestions about how to
easily fix major and minor problems if the contributors to this list are to
be believed (they are). They (Omega) have received lots of suggestions from
traders about how to improve the software for traders. It falls on deaf
ears. I have first hand experience with this. There is only so much that
the programmers and service reps and sales people can do when it is not the
corporate objective to make the best possible product.

Just think about how much different this product would be if they not only
TOOK suggestions, but ENCOURAGED them. What if it was important to them to
have the best trading platform possible instead of just the best marketed
one. What if they paid cash for improvements based on the value of the
improvement - or promised nothing, but cut a cheque anytime someone did
their work for them. What if they responded to criticism with an improved
product instead of marketing-speak? Can you imagine how much differently
you'd feel about this company than you do now?

We can only wonder why they wouldn't want to listen. Ego? Greed? Their
primary market of newbies would be unaffected by some of the improvements
suggested right here on this list. The difference is that they would have
cultivated some loyalty among long time users. They seem to have little or
none of that.

I guess that they didn't know that without customer loyalty, you can kiss
you company goodbye because word of mouth is much more powerful than glossy
magazine ads and Vegas conferences. It' just not as immediate.
