For those who live in Southern California, the Market
Technician's
Association is offering a special Thursday afternoon
series of
workshops on Technical analysis on May 13. Speakers
will include
John Bollinger, Stewart Taylor, Larry Katz, Larry
Berman, Mike Moody
and Paul Rabbitt. The charge is $40 - quite
reasonable to further
your education in technical analysis!
The MTA Annual conference will be held at the
Manhattan Beach
Marriott from May 13 - May 16. For more information
on the
workshops or the whole conference, call 212-912-0995.
Some of
the best technicians in the country, including Jim
Frasier,
Arch Crawford, Jim Dines, Nelson Freeburg, Chuck
LeBeau, and
Sherman McClellan will be giving presentations.
Also, the following weekend is the 1999 OmegaWorld
conference in
Las Vegas. OmegaWorld has become one of the leading
conferences
in the industry with over 30 different speakers and
dozens of
exhibitors. I will be giving a keynote presentation
on
"Trend Days" - how to anticipate them and different
methods for
trading them. Learning to analyze the expected type of
volatility
conditions for each day should be a key component in
your daily
trading plan.
