Larry, no matter what anyone thinks from the French side of town. He who
has VB programming (whether its TraderWare or TradeLab) capability will win
the market software race. The debug capabilities of VB are second to none,
VB runs super fast as compared Sleazy languages. VB gives the user the
confidence that just because a software company goes out of business or
doesn't keep up their upgrades, his hard work will not just go away! VB
code is here to stay, its transportable and reusable. It is not as easy or
compact to code as Sleazy languages are but as a user gains more experience
and requires more complicated studies he will realize that the investment of
learning VB will pay off. VB code will become as common as cut and paste as
more and more users produce more and more code. We at TraderWare plan to
play a big role in teaching of coding in VB. We will start out by providing
simple step by step lessons, and tons of free code as examples. This is
another problem with Sleazy language. These people don't want the public to
know how to use their code, without paying for the information that should
have been provided for free in the first place. If Omega had provided early
on tons of free code things would have been better for everyone. Well its a
lesson I learned and will put to practice giving away all the code I can and
as some know I can write zillions of good pieces of good code that are many
times better that what you pay for. This comes from being a trader and a
key part of a very successful money management company. Our entire project
thus far was financed by trading profits, can others say the same? Can
others even claim that they use their own product for its intended purpose?
No! I don't think so. For if they did, then many of the problems we all
have would have been corrected before we received the final shipping
version! How can Bill Cruz or some third party Pollution Provider expect us
all to use a product that they themselves do not use to make a living with?
My only singular income is from trading the markets not selling software.
