I don't know exactly what sort of problem in TS2000i is causing you to
have to restart it, but I have had more crashes or lock ups in TS2000i
than I can remember, including one today caused by divide by zero in
Quote Monitor, per the error message. I have restarted charting and
Global Server many times without restarting NT. I have also had 2000i
crash NT many times. One thing I don't have to do is defrag. I have
only used defrag once in the last five weeks and I am only at 96% now so
I have a while before it needs it again.
Mark you mentioned changing data feeds yesterday in the Global Server I
believe, as opposed to TS4's server. I changed feed yesterday and as
always when the new feed came up it crashed NT. It does it every time
for me.
I am running TS4 SP4 on a Dell dual 450 Mhz processor machine and
TS2000i build 512.
