Tony,
I purchased ts4 and upgraded to 2000i after listening to a lot of prerelease
crap. It was free because I purchased in October. I am running 2000i with a
Pent2 400 w 128 mb ram, Win 98, with BMI cable as my data feed.. The program
runs OK, (I only crash about once a week now) but it doesn't work. The
thing that has me most confused with this mess, is why somedays some thing's
work, ticks posting correctly on charts, etc., and some days they don't.
Code is code so this is either some voodoo demonic possession of my cpu or
this service pack 2 better be one kick ass little upgrade, because the way
things stand with ts2000, the fear factor of trying to place trades
according to what's on the screen, when the tick data is not posting
properly renders 2000 at best a nifty boat anchor. I am just a small trader,
and the thought of trying to use this to trade more than one lots would
scare the crap out of me. I am reluctant to go back to ts4 until the y2k
patch materializes.
I can't see how anyone getting the trial version of this wouldn't be aware
of the quantity and severity of the problems that exist with this build of
2000i
Just my opinion
