Borland is the developer of Delphi (they have changed their name to Inprise)
Have a look at:

You might view Delphi as a RAD tool (Rapid Application Development) around
Pascal. Visual Basic is about the same to Basic. Delphi is *fully* object
oriented and also compiles to true machine code. It's not as fast as C++ but
close, definetely a lot faster than VB. Delphi is a bless for programmers.
