"4.0 real-time": How many symbols?

Does anyone have any idea how many symbols I could collect intraday data on,
inside the real-time server of TS 4.0, before I would start to see data loss?

300?  500?  1000?

Own experiences?  Best guess?!!

PS.  I run a P200 48RAM machine, with a TurboPort 16750 UART serial card on
order.  I use Signal datafeed.  Before the serial card, I was seeing data
loss around the 250 symbol mark.  

What do you reckon I can up the ante to, before again seeing data loss?!!
