Dear Mr. Campbell and Omega-List Members using DBC Signal as a datafeed,
I apologize for the misinformation you received regarding the message "Quote
for WP M9/UNDEF being stored in WP M9/CME". Actually, this is not an error,
it is simply an informative message which means that the exchange identifier
being transmitted does not match the exchange on which the symbol is listed
in the Symbol Universe. There is no problem associated with this message.
The data is being stored correctly and is available.
The only step you may want to take is to reduce the number of days you are
saving data in the System Status Log. The reason for saving fewer days is to
reduce the size of the log file associated with the System Status window. To
reduce the number of days use the following steps:
1. From the Omega Server, use the Tools - Options - Morning Update menu
sequence to access the Morning Update tab.
2. Change the number of days in the Cleanup Log Files During Morning
Update section for the Number of Days to Keep in System Status Log to 2.
Sincerely,

Tech support's answer (first time they've got back to me faster than someone
on the list - things must be looking up!).
-----------------------------
Dear Mr. Campbell,
The reason this is happening is because the signal.syn file is corrupt. To
correct this problem, follow the following instructions:
1. Select Find | File or Folders... from the Start menu.
2. Type in signal.syn in the Named: field, set the Look in: field to
reference whatever drive the program is installed on, ensure that the
Include subfolders box is checked and then click the Find Now button.
3. When the file is found highlight it and choose File | Rename from
the menu sequence.
4. Type in signal.bak as the new name then press Enter.
5. From there reinstall TradeStation.
This will correct your problem and you won't loose any data or analysis
techniques.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your continued support.

Subject: Signal Server - odd messages
When collecting Signal RT data in my TS 4.0 server, I get
the following messages:
"Quote for WP M9/UNDEF being stored in WP M9/CME"
"Quote for INTC/UNDEF being stored in INTC/NASDAQ"
This is happening for a whole slew of my symbols. I know
for a fact that my symbols are set up correctly in the symbol universe.
Why am I getting these messages from the Signal Server? and
how do I stop them?
Thxs, Simon.
