I am currently using the much maligned DialData for daily updates of my
mutual fund database (which I didn't start using DialData). The software
is the new Downloader 6.52 from Equis. Previously - I couldn't recommend
DialData for downloads because its database wasn't updated for mutual fund
distributions - but I've noticed that those distributions now appear under
the new Equis software. Can't say whether - if you download a 3 year
history - that you'll get a clean database adjusted for distributions.
I'd give DialData a call and find out what the story is. Robyn
