Thanks for all the ideas.
Just in case any of you run into this again...... It turned out that when
MSN Explorer and Outlook e-mail programs are running at the same time, the
email polling causes the downloads to get locked up. By setting the email
polling to 2 minutes made the problem worse...that was the clue.
Now I shut down the email and the 3 meg file downloaded w/o a problem.
Oh, I love this...MSN's own two programs, and they have conflicts.
