I received an information packet from DTN which shows DTN uses Telstar 5. I
looked up TelStar 5 KU Band at http://www.nmia.com/~roberts/part72.html
This showed (below) that DTN is 100 watts. Did I read that right?
"Transponder Power: 4 transponders (54 MHz wide) - 100 watts each
24 transponders (27 MHz wide) - 100 watts each"
BTW - the information packet says TelStar 4 is 97 degrees West longitude. I
don't know how that compares to BMI.
