Hans -

Good God - Never thought of it that way.

Well, in reality I guess that she could actually be broke.... IF she made
100% the first year, then lost 99% the next year, then made 200% (on her
remaining money) the following year, then lost 99% the next...and so
on....in fact, she could be way in the hole and still say she averaged 100%
a year ...<g> Depends on how it is accounted, and I'll bet it was
done "creatively".

Wahhhhhhhh - love it......here is my FAVOURATE: FUTURES Feb 99 issue, BMI
ad between page 18+19:

"young" lady named PATTY FELKER stating: ""In the last 14 years of trading
my
sytem averaged a 100% return....blablabla...more b.s. snipped""

Assuming she only started with $5000 (not a lot in FUTURES trading) - after
14
years of doubling this goes like:

0 $5,000
1 $10,000
2 $20,000
3 $40,000
4 $80,000
5 $160,000
6 $320,000
7 $640,000
8 $1,280,000
9 $2,560,000
10 $5,120,000
11 $10,240,000
12 $20,480,000
13 $40,960,000
14 $81,920,000

$$$ +81 million - even ignoring the nice accrued interest over that
time.........

Is she married ? <g>
