Hi Everyone -
It's near the weekend and guess we can all use a quick laugh.
As I was reading some of the re: Bill Cruz posts it reminded me of some of
the funny stuff I remember in the past. I've been using Omega stuff since
around 1988 with the original System Writer.....
1) Anyway, do you remember the trading contest (or something to that effect)
that Omega announced and stated that the GRAND First Prize was a ride with
the Cruz Bros. on their little power boat called "Cruzin"?
Cheeez....(And you pay for the plane ticket down) And, I'll bet since the
IPO the new boat is called the USS Cruz.
2) Another time there was another trading contest? I think where it required
you to be using Omega TS and/or Super Charts. It was in conjunction with
Robbins or somebody like that. Well, first place was $2,000 in credit
towards MORE Omega software....(Hey- just give me the two grand in cash, if
you please)
3) And lastly, I remember receiving a letter in the mail from the Cruz
Bros. stating that if I was trading with an Omega product and profitable, to
let them know and they would put me in their ads as a big success....<G>
Gee, that's nice of them.....
Anyway, I watched over the following months and never saw anyone written up
that I recall.....actually kinda strange considering that the law of
averages produces occasional shooting stars that make some money then burn
out just as quickly when using optimized systems.
On other vendor ads:
I would love to talk to some of the poor bastards whose pictures are shown
smiling in various vendor ads over and over stating how much money they've
made since just buying and using this new disco duck system for the last
month....It must really piss 'em off when they see their picture every
month ....now that they're back at their old day job again <g>....
