Mr. Gold,

I agree with your advice. As a long-time TradeStation user of over 5 years,
I cut the cord with this release. Even with the lack of alternatives - but
MetaStock is definitely worth a try. There's plenty of software that works
with PC Quote and RealTick similar to RadarScreen.

Yes, it took me a few days to get over it. But what I expected when
installing the new release was a seamless upgrade of my existing database
into the new GlobalServer symbol portfolio. I should have been able to try
out the new features and software within one hour if everything worked
properly.

Instead, it took me over 4 hours to download 20 days of end-of-day for 300
symbols. Once these symbols were imported, much of the data was corrupt or
incorrect. Instead of being able to access Dial/Data directly, I was left
to import Dial/Data history files ONE symbol at a time.

Although I returned the product, I reported several other bugs that occurred
within several hours of running the program. Trying to interrupt the
GlobalServer download would hang my system. Deleting data for a specific
date range would leave scattered, leftover data points on the charts. Hmm,
why didn't it delete March 12th when I asked it to delete March 1st through
March 19th?

After several reinstallations and starting from scratch thinking that it
would go right this time, I gave up. Believe me, I was really looking
forward to the new product, but apparently the software talent pool in Miami
is severely limited - I guess they think that RAM is unlimited.
