I'm in the process of running the Upgrade Wizard for TS 4 Users. It seems to be the best way to add my existing symbols to my portfolio, and get tick data history at the same time.
I'm also getting the above referenced out of order error message...
"<C:\ordev\server\pds\PriceDataStorage.cpp:1115> PDS Error - Data out of order for write transaction. <C:\ordev\server\server\hist_buf.cpp:396>"
I hit the OK button and get exactly the same displayed error box again. Hit OK again and it carries on with the conversion. This has happened about 6 times so far at the 50% conversion mark.
Wonder if it'll create a problem in my converted data.
The Upgrade Wizard only allows you to convert your portfolio and data. It had an option to convert Workspaces and ELA, but it was greyed out, and not available "until a future release". Hopefully this will be available with one of the upcoming Service Packs.
