Re: PC Quote vs: Bonneville costs

Speed should be as fast or faster than cable via Internet but not as
reliable. I had to hunt and try several ISP's before keeping AT&T Worldnet.
Seems my location cause several ISP's to route access through unfavorable
local carriers which experienced different problems disrupting my service
many times. I had PC quote once and was pleased with their service but it
was only for stocks. It was during the time when modem speeds were quite
slow as well. So the question is not just PC Quote but your ISP that can
determine a difference in reliability. I suggest finding somebody that has
PC Quote and compare real time quotes on the phone for about 3 minutes on 3
different days then you should know the speed question. Speed which could
be a dramatic difference in the S&P. I share your interest about this issue
and I do believe in time the Internet will be both faster and more reliable
than cable but maybe not just yet. Seems many have experience problems with
cable too using different TV channels being weak are plagued with
commercials affecting both speed and reliability. I think BMI offers
something they call light at a lower cost than your currently paying for
the same service?
