Y2K Patch - "African" possible solution

Since we have access to our data, why not change what we can?

In Africa we are a bit ( 50 years?) behind time, therefore the following
could maybe work:
Subtract 50 years from all the data's dates between years 1950 to 2050.
It then gives "African" data dates between 1900 to 1999 (and then one has
to add mentally 50 years for the real current year.)

I suppose a simple Visual Basic routine can do the trick in the background?
Bingo one can trade for the next 50 years without Omega's Y2K patch.

Have not tried it- still time for Omega's  Y2K patch - but it is a
primitive -- "Backup"
and will drive me insane....
