Earl Adamy is the Dean of Ensign as far as I can tell. I'd suggest you
listen closely to any comments he issues.

For myself, I have tried both products. After a time, I abandoned Ensign. I
found the programming language too complicated and counter-intuitive for my
simple mind. Even applying an indicator to a chart is tedious when compared
to TS. Download the free trial version and see for yourself.

We all know what TS is like, and while Omega is content to lounge about and
bask in the reflected glory of its own brilliance and lack of serious
competition, Ensign appears to be in overdrive and gaining fast. But, for my
money, it ain't quite there yet.
