I won't requote your lengthy message - but it seems to deal
mostly with real
time data collection functions. Have you - or the people
you're apparently
speaking with - noticed any problems while using EOD data?

And - has anyone actually tested this program with a "dummy"
data set which goes
forward past 1/1/2000? (Note that I'll be sending such a
data set to some
people in the near future.) Either with real time or EOD
data? And - if so -
in what data formats? I've only heard verbal claims of Y2K
compliance -
and even those have been hedged pretty carefully. Since
there are a fair number
of people who want to upgrade only because of Y2K concerns -
this seems like an
important issue to me. I note that I can't find any claims
of Y2K compliance either
in the sales literature I've received - or on the new Omega
web site presentation.
Perhaps they're there (and - if so - I'd appreciate someone
pointing them out).

BTW - as far as the new Omega data service is concerned - it
doesn't seem to
cover mutual funds at all - so - for those of us who follow
mutual funds - it's
not an option. Robyn

P.S. IMO - you can make your points as forcefully (if not
more so) without the
use of profanity.
