Worden TC2000 -- TA software for analyzing NYSE, AMEX & NASDAQ Stocks--
assigns a unique "Machine-Key" to every machine that it is installed on.
The key is registered to the legitimate user and is encrypted and stored in
the Windows Registry. If you need to re-install or move the S/W to a
different machine, you need to call Worden to get authorization. A simple
but very effective deterrent to those who wish to subvert security. It
would be easy for Omega to adopt this technique.
