I received this information from BMI about displaying Packet counts on the BMI cable
receiver and also where to get instructions to retune the cable receiver if necessary.
If BMI cable users aready know this, please ignore.

To display Total Packets Received and Bad Packets:

1. While viewing the screen with "VIDEO CARRIER DATA", press the Cancel key once.

2. Press the right arrow key four times, until the cursor is on:  5) PPC

3. Press the Enter key.

4. You will then see a screen reading:

TOT PKTS: 0126459900
BAD PKTS: 0000003846

The numbers listed above will be different on your reciever.  The important thing is the
ratio between total and bad packets.  If there is a high ratio of bad packets, you should
retune your receiver.  Instructions for retuning the cable receiver are on our web site
