Comments on the Omega Server for TS 5
TS 5 Product review : The thing has to have Signal or BMI data server
running, see the program is no longer a stand alone. It has no data
server, what it has is a data leach that sucks data from the data vendors
own server. We all know how the quality of the data vendors service is
can you only imagine how their software quality is? The data vendors
servers have to be prodded into action each time you start one. They will
seldom start the first time you try and initialize them. You have to keep
shutting them down and restarting then to get it to take, and I might add
that it takes a very long wait each time the server fails to stop and
restart it. When you add the data vendors server with the omega collection
server, you have two products now running on your computer and you haven't
started charting yet! As usual the settings for exchanges and the values
are still screwed up! Nothing has been improved with this new global
server approach except that omega has passed along some responsibility to
the data vendor. The server conglomeration crashes several times a day and
very unstable when adding new symbols

WHATS THIS ? - didnt I hear RELEASE on FEB 22 just few days ago - tooting:
to be ONE month AHEAD of schedule <g> - and TS sales !!! people are on
longer shifts since WEEKS - and now shipping is 23 days
later............?????

....wahhhhhhh - do they really think they can surprise any COMPETITIOR out
there next week ? - bet they are ALL beta testers <g>
oh yes....... nearly forgot, when visiting the website to get MORE info
after reading a EIGHT page ad in FUTURES, which was more than HALF empty
and hardly told anything - cant get any info there either - besides
booking a silly roadshow somewhere in the US - yeah great..... maybe I can
book AIRFORCE ONE aswell to get over there......
