I think more pressure should be focused on the CBOT, CME, CEC and all the
commodity exchanges to drop exchange fees and move to per ticket charges.
This is going to happen sooner or later and would a positive for public
exposure and add to open interest in the futures markets. Grass roots
movements are listened to by the people at these exchanges. The futures
markets are still operating in the 70's time to wake them up. More blood
letting to be done to exchange seat prices and lease fees. Stock exchanges
are 30 years ahead of the futures market exchanges.
