     MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 1999--

           TradeStation(R) 2000i, OptionStation(R) 2000i and
             RadarScreen(tm) 2000i Priced at $2,400 Each;
          Omega Research ProSuite(tm) 2000i Priced at $4,800

    Omega Research, Inc. (NASDAQ:OMGA) announced today pricing for
the next generation of its premium investment analysis software
products, TradeStation 2000i, OptionStation 2000i, RadarScreen 2000i
and Omega Research ProSuite 2000i--Platinum Edition. The new products
continue to be on schedule to be officially launched Monday, February
22. A 90-day launch tour at which the products will be publicly
demonstrated in more than 50 cities across the United States is
scheduled to commence this weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and
Dallas, Texas. Public demonstrations are also scheduled the weekend of
February 27 in New York and Chicago and the weekend of March 6 in Los
Angeles and San Francisco.
    TradeStation 2000i, OptionStation 2000i and RadarScreen 2000i
will each be initially priced at $2,400. Omega Research
ProSuite--Platinum Edition, which is an integrated suite of those
three products, will initially be offered for $4,800. RadarScreen
2000i will initially be offered only as part of Omega Research
ProSuite--Platinum Edition. It is expected to be offered separately at
the $2,400 price no later than the second quarter of 1999. Complete
pricing, including all upgrade pricing, is expected to be posted on
the Company's website next week. All prices are subject to change,
with or without notice.
    Omega Research's next generation of products is expected, upon
release, to be compatible with the following real-time Internet and
broadcast data services: Data Broadcasting Corporation's (NASDAQ:DBCC)
Signal Online (Internet), StockEdge Online (Internet), InSite
(Internet), DBC Signal (Broadcast) and BMI (Broadcast); Data
Transmission Network Corporation's (NASDAQ:DTLN) DTN Real Time and
DTNstant (Broadcast); and PC Quote, Inc.'s (AMEX:PQT) Hyperfeed(tm)
(Internet and Broadcast). An agreement is also in place to add, later
this year, as a compatible real-time data service, Standard & Poor's
ComStock's Xpressfeed(tm).
