Dear Fletch and Comrades:

My old computer is dying on me. I have "blue screens" all the time.
According to Microsoft Windows NT people it need new controller, cables,
and hard disks. I called tech service and they are going to work on my
hardware tomorrow. (Luckily for me, market is close on Monday).

I don't know if they will fix the computer on time or not. So I am
moving Tradestation to the new computer I bought recently just for such
event. Omega tech support suggested to install Tradestation software on
the new computer, then delete entire Omega directory from the new
computer and then copy Omega directory from the old computer to the new
one.

On my old computer I had Tradestation build 19. On the new computer I
have installed Tradestation build 21. If I copy my old Omega directory
to the new computer I will override the new version 21 with the old
version 19.

My question is: could I just copy sub directory Server with my data, and
copy the files containing my symbol universe (where are they?) and what
else? So I would keep a new version of the software and have my old
symbol universe and old data?

Very truly yours,

Unlucky Alex.
