T port not Tip

I cant remember what it is for, I couldn't even remember what its 
name was
 It is a Tport I have in the CPU , not a tip ,which several members 
pointed out was the card from FS
  
I am building a new CPU, my present ones have TIP cards, I put 
them in years ago , I think because TS could not keep up with fast 
markets, but cant remember exactly what they do. Can anyone 
refresh my memory
