VIX stands for "Volatility Index" (VIX on BMI from CBOE) -- It is the
volatility of all "at the money" Calls & Puts on CBOE-- also known as the
"Fear Index", since some think that it accurately gauges the cumulative
amount of fear that traders have when the market plunges of approaches
recent Lows or previous support areas. It rises when the market falls.
