Tom,
Your point is well taken and it is unfortunate that you were forced to joust
with the Saddam Hussein of the Omega-List so soon after your arrival. Just
to complete the picture, it should be mentioned that he's a closet-vendor
masquerading as the self-appointed savior of what he perceives to be the
poor clueless masses of the List who can't think for themselves.
He has regularly trolled the List for quite some time in hopes of attracting
newbies to his WebSite for the final kill. Whenever someone appears who
might have something worthwhile to present or discuss-- he feels threatened
that he might be losing his grip on the minds of the newbies that may have
stumbled into what he perceives to be his territory.
Regardless of the circumstances that led you to attempt to contribute to the
Omega-List, it is unfortunate that the self-serving interests have thwarted
any attempt at a worthwhile discussion.
