Off Subject: Word Processing Software

I'd like to compile all the useful information I've collected from this 
list into a single document and I'd like recommendations from the list 
members regarding word processing software. Maybe someone's done this 
already. 

The software should be able to create "internet style" links between 
subjects, maintain a decent table of contents, have the ability to allow 
subject searches, etc.
