The lack of readily available EL programming resources is a strong negative
for any flavor of TS X. TradeLab and its multiple programming language
support is
looking better and better these days.
I wish there were a way to study good el programming other than tidbits from
this list. How about writing a manual?
Concerning the above comments, years ago when I was fighting mad on AOL. My
crusade was that Bill Cruz was holding back on the proper documentation of
easy language. I suspected that Bill figured this would be yet another
revenue source, and it has been for them. Traveling around the country
charging for easy language seminars and you pay to learn something that
should have been furnished when you bought the product in the first place.
The people that have the inside documentation of easy language are the same
people that have paid for this right by defending Omega. Bill Cruz in a
effort to shut me up promised me that he would release the same
documentation that he has allowed ex employees and fighting allies to have.
It was to be published as a book and sent out more than two years ago. I
was silent and even complementary some years ago between the AOL days and
the days of late. In fact you can see in the archives where I complimented
their attempt of Option software some time back. I'm just stating a fact
that there is allot of insider documentation that has been held back,
everything form data formats to easy language documentation. For this
reason I would certainly not ever consider getting serious about another
trading program unless it was able to use a common well documented language
that is taught at every Community College. Mark Brown
