That's why I couldn't understand your response.

Yes, let's put this thread to rest.  At least until Omega back pedals on the
TS4 Y2k patch in June because there aren't enough customers that want it to
represent a real threat.  This is not the correct way to handle the problem.
It should have been engineered into TS4 or at least a patch given a year
leter.  And I wouldn't have to be more time with this silly work around.

I'm pragmatic only.
TS4 will be compliant after TS5.
I personally will not wait the patch when TS5 will be released.
We have different standard here, but mainly food related.

Omega cannot act like this.
Their customers are not their hostages, believe me.
If the delay the patch and TS5, they should have good reasons.
