Unless I'm mistaken, that's exactly what the Momentum-Momentum[M] 
that I mentioned will give you.  (It's not scaled by M, but it's 
essentially the same thing.)

The problem I have is that that resulting curve is not very useful, 
at least in any of the ways I've looked at it.  It's either far too 
noisy or far too delayed, or both.
