I didn't see the discussion that you mention, but in my work-- Momentum is
the measured result of a price movement based on the degree of Velocity that
was required to produce the result. A good example in the Market is the
common event of Divergence-- based on Price vs. a value produced by a
Momentum indicator-- such as RSI.
I'm sure the math whizzes on the List will have a different technical view,
but that is the practical application of Momentum vs. Velocity that works
for me in the Markets.
