Actually, another take on this phenomena would be that more small (read
inexperienced) traders trade the S+P and are more likely to continue buying
on a rally like this -- right through the intraday hi. Smaller traders tend
to feel better buying breakouts than fading moves which is the bread and
butter for many S+P traders.

right now - 1116 Ny time, the Mini went skyrocketing to 107900 and ticked 10
times or so at 7825 while dec S&P was still at 7500 and hardly moving,,,,,
Wodering whether "people" use the mini to manipulate/ try to push the S&P -
cant assume someone thinks so - but that can be the only solution ?
