>>Who says smoother or faster indicators are better? Why? <<
The more noise present in an indicator, the less reliable the reading. The
more lag in an indicator, the less pertinent it is with regard to any time
series having at least one positive Lyupunov exponent.

Subject: Indicator lag
Of course indicators lag. They are derivatives of price. You want a lead
indicator then go buy a crystal ball for Pete's sake.
Indicators are only tools not systems. They are neither good or bad. A
hammer is a tool. You can use it to hit a nail or you can miss and hit
your
thumb. If you miss, is that the fault of the hammer?
Who says smoother or faster indicators are better? Why? Still looking for
tomorrows newspaper today. Ain't gonna happen.
None of this has anything to do with gambling. Some of the most ridiculous
stuff I have ever read has been posted tonight. Sounds like the inmates
are
running the asylum. Its been fun. Bring the nets and the jackets.
