I replied privately to David, but looks like others here
might find this useful. I had the same problem with a
friend in town who I helped set up his TS. The fix was to
unplug the serial data cable from the box, then start
the server, then plug the cable back in while TS is looking
for data. As soon as the baud rate matches it connects
no problem.
