It was reported in San Jose Mercury News, Sunday 10-11-98 that the "grey
suits" are prowling Thailand looking for bargins.
" At the start of the jear, foreign investors were no where to be
found......now
"Kongkait, president of Asset Plus Securities Co. Ltd, entertains at
least one group a day in his 27th floor office in a gleaming downtown
tower. Not everyone is buying, he said, but many are taking a serious
look at investing in stocks or direcly in Thai companies.
"People are sniffing around," he said."
