1 way, might be to use MACD or ROC/momentum, [Martin Pring's KST {  (k)no(w)
sure thing}  ]  and look at the question on 3 time frames, that suit you .
Say weekly, monthly, and 2-year time frames
OR, say, minutes, days, weeks

At least 2 time frames must agree on the direction, and preferrably all
three.
