Re: TC2000 DATA

Although i presently no longer use Supercharts, i do use both TC2000 v4.1
and TCpro v3.0.... one must
be aware that v4.1 data structure is different and not compatible w/ v3.o
data - so therefore Supercharts cannot
read the data.

One however, can EXPORT v4.1 data to v3.0 via a 'virtual' directory. The
instructions are in HELP in v4.1.
Create a new directory (eg., EXPORT) and use the EXPORT function, making
sure that the TC2000v.e3.0 is selected, and select
the amount of days. If one wishes a long history of data, the amount of time
to complete the process can be quite long!! Then you
should be able to point Supercharts to this new EXPORT directory.

This is one of the 'Negatives' of the newer version by Worden Bros. and i
for one, find it very disconcerting that they took this route-
for all the various Charting programs that have TC2000 compatibility are no
longer functionable without first Exporting! Some programs,
such as Nirvana's Omnitrader are now providing that compatibility.

Do be advised also, that the above mentioned EXPORT function is not without
its idiosyncrasies as well.
