In Excel: To do this, you want to format your
numbers as fractions and use the custom
format function so that you can use 32nds.

Create custom number formats
1 Select the cells you want to format.
2 On the Format menu, click Cells, and then click the Number tab.
3 In the Category box, select the format that most closely resembles the
format you want.
4 In the Category box, click Custom.
5 In the Type box, edit the number format codes to create the format you
want. Editing a built-in format does not remove it.
