yes, i understand that. i don't blame ken. ken is simply responding
to the data vendors (and their lawyers) and the data vendors are
responding to the exchanges (and their lawyers).
i don't believe that the exchanges are out to get the small trader
directly. they're worried about a big operation setting up 100's of
terminals and feeding data to them from only a coupla of servers.
i think this view is ridiculous 'cause most large trading outfits use
custom software for their intranet. so, as a result, ken and others
are being punished by the exchanges and small traders are being
punished indirectly.
i'm willing to pay for the data to feed my extra terminals. but allow
me to have the option open in the open server design.
