Chart Formations

I am attempting to create functions which would detect classical chart
formations within TradeStation.  For example I would like to create a
function within TradeStation that would detect when a triangle had occured
and then use this in creating a system.  Other patterns which could be used
would include flags, trendlines, etc.

Any suggestions on how to do this sort of thing in Easy Language or any
sample code?
