No argument that it's an excellent system but the daily
volume is somewhat misleading. For example, if the 800k to
which you referred were all 1-lots, that'd be trouble. IOW,
it's not size which presents problems for electronic
systems; it's the =number= of trades.

On the lighter side, I visited the DTB web site to get an
idea of what the average size of a trade might be. I didn't
locate that information but found this:

"You will, however, require Adobe's Acrobat Reader in order
to be able to browse through the Internet edition. Should
you not yet have installed this software, which is available
free of charge, on your hard dick, simply download it direct
from the Adobe web site."

Sheesh, looks like all we have to do to get free s/w is look
down!!
