Here's how I analyze the situation. (Am a stock investors, so always
thinking what the
insiders are thinking and act accordingly, of course with technical
signals for confirmation).
After preparing and then getting listed, Omega Research as any listed
company would ,The first primary directive (of course,should be subtle
and implicit especially to buying
customers) is company's bottom line, that means they need a continuous
income stream (to maintain business momentum)and increase the market
size,so thats where the main focus of their actions will be. Customer
service or pleasing is not really their main focus as income stream is
not that as promising. Like GM sold you a car,do you think they will
push heaven and earth to please you,after your purchase? They will
already be looking for the next sale (ringing of cash register)of a
newer and (better?) car to you or some other
newbie.. They also have new responsibility to new shareholders
(including accountability). The only positive point is, their ads didn't
promised unlimited computing ability to trading the markets. Like if you
buy a spreadsheet program, and is such a serious user, that you used up
all the existing cells of the program to the limits (or pushed your car
from GM to the limits), of course problems will occur. So their
corporate focus is more of pleasing the average user (cannon fodder like
me), who didn't demand too much from their system (or car).
Personally, don't think they promised unlimited computing ability, or
Yk2 compliance
when you first bought it. But still am not happy with their bugs of
missing arrows,too!
On the other hand, lets be patient and wait,if in time the stock goes
up, and the complaints
is valid enough, you can sue them and they have lots of money to pay you
up.
EXAMPLE (fantasy), For me am as an insider, yes, the market forces
drives the stock down, with the help of bashers, there's nothing I can
do, then I accumulate (take advantage of the situation)when my
superduper product is ready, WHAM !! and released it, and at the same
time , go out of the way to please and quiet down specifically the
bashers and then ultimately the stock goes up. And everyone lived
happilly ever after.
