Hi Pierre,

why it's not possible to get a release date for that s/w - what you are thinking ?

You mean, the timing of Omega is good - I'm really not sure ! In the case some of
my customers would like to have additional functionality of a s/w that I've
written, I can give him
a) the time I need to add it,
b) what it will cost,
c) when he will get it - depends on if I've time or free recourses - it's very
simple.
In the case of Omega they answer nothing about a),b) and c) so I have the
impression,
that Omega is not interested in doing this. Also, I could imaging, that such a y2k
patch for
that TS4.0 16bit s/w is very complicate to implement. I think, that Omega has the
following
strategy:
a) release of TS5,
b) release of an TS4 -> TS5 upgrade,
c) hoping that all people requesting such y2k patch will follow this
update/upgrade path,
d) saving a lot of time and money,
e) optimizing the income, revenue

What do you think about this scenario ?
