In my opionion, what most people and politicians and pundits all are
missing is this: Bill Clinton lied in the Paula Jones deposition. The
president was being deposed in a lawsuit where specific monetary damages
were being sought by PJ. So rather than just lying to "protect his family"
or whatever, he was lying to avoid paying damages, i.e., he had a specific
monetary interest in not telling the truth.
That's dishonest and that is against the law.
So it's not "just about sex" or his "private life".
And it makes absolutely no difference that PJ lawsuit was later
dismissed. No one knew that would happen when he was being deposed.
Those are the facts.
