I used WebStreet for a little while. Their response, fills, and getting orders
to market were all painfully slow. I hear they're better now. The main problem
is that they take every chance to gouge you. If you enter a limit at 1/2, and
during the long painful wait for the confirm page to load, the offer has moved
to 7/16, you get filled at 1/2. Datek and Etrade make an effort to get you the
best price and will fill you at 7/16.

Yes, you get 1000 lots for no commission with MARKET orders. Considering how
you can get robbed even with limit orders, a market order is a license to
steal.
