Hans,

Look at the bright side, at least emotional sellers' execution of their trade
can be
arrested (stopped) during the opening minutes which are critical in setting the
tone
for the day.

Emotions(specially those that are raised from other markets lousy closing a few
hours before like from Asia then Europe then US) ,has to be controlled even for
a while.

Seen this happening in our own electronics exchange too often, (everytime other
markets
go down big the previous hours,we have down computer the coming morning) I
really think this is becoming a standard exchange policy (Yeah, blame it on the
computers, right), that will be practiced around the world. My fearless
forecast.

Well, at least I can sleep better at night and not worry too much to get in to
panic sell
in the morning because of build up anxiety from everywhere (media, valuations
and gut).

I had come to accept this and that , it will be a better world. This practice
will temper
the panic selling of the masses.

The last time someone did this (stopped an exchange form going down, by
temporarily
closing it) as a person he was jailed for some years. Governor Ronald Li of
Hongkong
Stock Exchange. His prime motivation at that time was to protect his own long
positions,
with the advent of computers today, no one gets the blame.

I am serious, this is not a joke message.

Our country, Philippines, has always been a testing laboratory for a lot of
foreign governmental or multinational experiments whether political or social
control, monetary policy, new drug testing (I heard even Viagra was first
experimented here!), insurgent control tactics etc. So am used to that. At
least we are always leading edge in new ideas
and practices. (Saying these doesn't mean am a Communist, because as a trader,
one
has to be a capitalist at heart)

I Learned to live with this, cause like to see positive in things in life. You
will remember
what am saying when it happens to you again and again and again.

Am really serious, and this is not a joke message.
