Re: Dimensional Arrays Do Not Work

Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie. Do you abandon a tool that you've used in
your trading if it's found to have gone kaput after a long and
fruitful live? Or do you try to find the source of the problem before
relegating it upon the dustheap, especially if you've spent a hell of
a lot of time developing it from infancy to fruitation? The answer is
obvious.

Such as it is with TS and it's users. Some of us care about Omega
working out the problems experienced with TS. Why? Because we've
invested a tremendous amount of time learning, developing our market
models, and implimenting our trading strategies with TS.

Your repeated characterizations of TS users who report problems on
this list as Omega bashers is as crazy as those who defend Omega
beyond all rational thought. The "love it or leave it" defense for TS
and Omega is irrational and demeaning.

I, for one, appreciate more TS "secrets" and "bug reports" from
contributors such as Fulks, Brown, and Tennis, and others (especially
Tennis, the guy who actively developed EL from the beginning).
Unfortunately, it is becoming more apparent that Omega has little love
for satisfying its existing customer base. If they did, then the
lines of communication would open and we could have a free flow
exchange of information and an open dialogue without the barrage of
"Omega basher" thrown into our faces by a very vocal minority.

New 32 bit choices are out there, as well as TS5. I plan on examining
all of them. If I remember correctly, Bill Gates and DOS, were, as
you say, "the new kid on the block," a while back. I can guarantee
you that Bill Cruz is looking over his shoulder more now than in the
past. And that fact benefits all trading software consumers.

We do agree on one point. No amount of money spent on trading
software and systems can compensate for lack of trading experience.
TS will not turn Joe Blow into Paul Tudor Jones or Bruce Kovner (or
even Mark Brown).

Peace and prosperity,

TJ
