I want to use "Advanced GET" realtime,but the problem is it will work with
only certain data vendors and data-CQG,Bloomberg,and now Tradestation .
I also want to use 'Cynthia kase's "StatWare program" but that will also
require a
charting program like CQG or Tradestation 4.
As I understand it,Tradestation 4 will only work with certain real-time data
vendors-BMI,
Comstock and Future Source,all of which are no use to me,as I live and trade
in
India,and none of these data vendors cover Indian equities,which I trade.
I have a local (Bombay based)Internet based real time data provider,along
with its own charting program.
What I wanted to ask you is:Is there any way that Tradestation 4.00 will
read the realtime data from my data provider-Are there any commercial
products which will allow me to do the same.Supercharts 4 real time has a
DDE link-Does TradeStation
4 have a DDE link and if so,can this DDE link be used by Tradestation to
read
my realtime data.
I have extremely good relations with my data provider,and they are willing
to listen to
any suggestion that I gve them-Is there any way that they can make their
data
compatible with Tradestation 4-by changing the formatting of their data etc.
I don't want Tradestation for its features,(not to criticise it any
fashion)but it seems that a lot of third party programs will work only on,or
are compatible with Tradestation 4-So, I want highly appreciate any
suggestions that you can give me.
